On the basis of Council Decision 2003/737/EC, the Agreement was thereby renewed on 22 September 2003 for an additional period of five years. Furthermore, on the basis of Council Decisions 2011/182/EU, (EU) 2015/344 and (EU) 2020/788, the Agreement was renewed for subsequent five-year periods, with retroactive effect as of 8 November 2009, 8 November 2014 and 8 November 2019, respectively. The last renewal expires on 8 November 2024.
