On 1 June 2024, at the 77th session of the World Health Assembly (WHA), the Members of the World Health Organization (WHO) adopted by consensus the various amendments to the International Health Regulations (2005) contained in the Annex to Resolution WHA77.17 (the amendments) and aimed at strengthening their effectiveness.
