Driving disqualifications imposed by a Member State on a person who holds a driving licence issued by another Member State should take effect across the entire territory of the Union, in terms similar to driving disqualifications imposed on persons holding driving licences issued by the Member State imposing the driving disqualification. Also, in view of the principle of procedural autonomy, Member States should be free to decide how best to achieve that result in accordance with their national law.
