Member States should be required to closely monitor the impact of the support for soil health and soil resilience, taking into account new knowledge from research and innovation. Valuable contributions are expected in this respect from the EU Mission A Soil Deal for Europe and, in particular, its living labs and activities to support soil monitoring, soil education and citizen engagement.
