Pursuant to Article 27 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (the Charter), workers or their representatives are, at the appropriate levels, to be guaranteed information and consultation in good time in the cases and under the conditions provided for by Union law and national law and practices. Principle No 8 of the European Pillar of Social Rights reaffirms the right of workers or their representatives to be informed and consulted in good time on matters relevant to them.
