Recital (19)

Member States should ensure that the natural persons in charge of ADR possess the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of alternative or judicial resolution of consumer disputes, as well as a general understanding of law. To that end, Member States should also ensure that ADR entities, where necessary, provide training for the natural persons in charge of ADR. That training should be adapted to the actual and the required level of expertise of the natural persons in charge of ADR.
