Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified war of aggression against Ukraine since 24 February 2022 has had a profoundly negative impact on the ability of Ukraine to trade with the rest of the world. This has been the case for the iron and steel sector, for example, because of the occupation or destruction of iron and steel production facilities. It has also been the case for other sectors of the Ukrainian economy.
