In order to maintain the security of supply and the appropriate level of filling of gas storage facilities, the Commission should continuously monitor the market and explore ways that could help meet the filling target, including by making more effective use of the opportunities offered by the demand aggregation and joint purchasing mechanism set up under Council Regulation (EU) 2022/2576.
