Article 45 — Evaluation

The European Parliament shall, after consulting the Authority, publish within one year of the elections to the European Parliament a report on the application of this Regulation and on the activities funded. The report shall indicate, where appropriate, possible amendments to be made to the statute and funding systems. No more than one year after the publication of the report by the European Parliament, the Commission shall present a report on the application of this Regulation accompanied, if appropriate, by a proposal to amend this Regulation. The Commission’s report shall pay particular attention to the implications of this Regulation for the position of small European political parties and European political foundations and for the rules governing the financing of European political foundations.
