Decisions to remove a European political party or a European political foundation from the Register on the ground of non-compliance with the values on which the Union is founded, set out in Article 2 TEU, should be taken only in the event of a manifest and serious breach of those values. When taking such a decision, the Authority should fully respect the Charter.
