Manufacturers should prepare the technical documentation describing all relevant aspects of toys, including the safety assessment of all hazards that the toy might present and how they have been addressed, in order to allow market surveillance authorities to perform their tasks efficiently. The manufacturer should be required to make that technical documentation available to national authorities on request or to notified bodies in the context of the relevant conformity assessment procedure.
