The creation of the European Centre Against Migrant Smuggling is without prejudice to the role and functions of the Management Board, in particular when deciding, taking into consideration both business and financial requirements, upon the establishment of Europol’s internal structures, including other Union centres of specialised expertise upon a proposal of the Executive Director.
