For actions under the Ukraine Support Instrument, Union support for industry reinforcement and supporting activities involving legal entities established in Ukraine should be able to cover up to 100 % of the eligible costs in order to accommodate the increased complexity and environment of the Ukraine defence industry, including the need to meet NATO standards and other relevant standards, as well as the increased risks associated with Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, taking into account the need to rebuild and modernise industrial capacities in a resilient way.
