Article 13(2a) of Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 should be amended to enable Member States, when implementing the GAEC standards, to provide for temporary derogations from the requirements of minimum standards also in the case of plant diseases or pest infestations, which prevent farmers from complying with those requirements in a given year.
