Article 120 of Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 ensures that the CAP Strategic Plans are updated to reflect amendments made to the legislative acts listed in Annex XIII to that Regulation concerning the environment and climate to which the CAP Strategic Plans should contribute and with which they should be consistent. For that purpose, Member States are to assess whether their CAP Strategic Plans should be amended, and, where necessary, should submit a request for amendment, where any of the legislative acts is modified. In order to avoid unnecessary administrative processes in the late phase of implementation of CAP Strategic Plans, Article 120 of Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 should be deleted.
