Recital (1)

In accordance with European Council Decision (EU) 2018/509, the term of office of Mr Luis DE GUINDOS JURADO, Vice-President of the European Central Bank, expires on 31 May 2026. It is therefore necessary to appoint a new Vice-President of the European Central Bank.
