In accordance with Council Decision (EU) 2024/2218, the Council of Europe Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law (the Convention) was signed on 5 September 2024 on behalf of the European Union, subject to its conclusion at a later date.
