Article 2

1. By way of derogation from Article 7(2) of Directive 2014/32/EU, Member States shall not impede the making available on the market and putting into use of measuring instruments that are in conformity with that Directive on 8 April 2026, and that have been placed on the market before 10 October 2028. 2. By way of derogation from Article 7(2) of Directive 2014/32/EU, Member States shall not impede the making available on the market and putting into use of measuring instruments defined in Annexes Va and VIIa of that Directive, as amended on 9 April 2026, that are in conformity with the national law of a Member State and that have been placed on the market before 10 April 2030. 3. By way of derogation from Article 7(2) of Directive 2014/32/EU, certificates covering measuring instruments that fall within the scope of that Directive, as amended on 9 April 2026, whether those certificates are issued pursuant to national law which transposes Directive 2014/32/EU or pursuant to other national law, before 10 October 2028, shall remain valid until the expiry of their validity, and in any case no longer than 10 April 2038.
