To ensure a consistent approach to the application of preventive measures by DGSs across the Union, EBA should issue guidelines specifying the conditions to be imposed on credit institutions benefiting from preventive measures, the systems that DGSs are to have in place in order to adequately select and implement preventive measures and monitor their risks, and the detailed arrangements of cooperation between resolution authorities, designated authorities and competent authorities.
