The review of the list of priority substances in Part A of Annex I to Directive 2008/105/EC has concluded that several priority substances are no longer of Union-wide concern and should therefore no longer be included in that Annex. Those substances should therefore be considered as river basin specific pollutants and included in a new annex to Directive 2008/105/EC together with their corresponding EQS.
