In order to raise citizens’ awareness of the scope, characteristics and effects of corruption, it should be possible to undertake various measures, including in cooperation with relevant stakeholders such as civil society, academia and the media. Such measures could include, for example, dedicated sources of information, compilations of publications and relevant regulation, and awareness-raising campaigns and seminars open to the public and in an accessible language.
