The Commission should submit to the European Parliament and to the Council a report on the application of this Directive within five years of its entry into force. While the impact of this Directive on travel businesses, including micro, small and medium-sized organisers, has been carefully assessed, it is appropriate for that report to take into account the impact of its application on such organisers. Furthermore, that report should include an assessment of the application of Article 5a of Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Where necessary, that report should be accompanied by legislative proposals.
