In some cases, LNG cargoes carry gas produced in different countries and mixed together. The prohibition on natural gas imports from the Russian Federation should therefore also apply to the amounts of gas in such cargoes that are produced in the Russian Federation. Where importers can unambiguously document the relevant shares of LNG produced outside the Russian Federation, it should be possible to import the non-Russian LNG amounts contained in an LNG cargo.
