As distributors make a detergent or surfactant available on the market after it has been placed on the market by the manufacturer or importer, distributors should act with due care in relation to the applicable requirements. Distributors should also ensure that their handling of the detergent or surfactant does not adversely affect its compliance with this Regulation.
