The outcome of the first global stocktake under the Paris Agreement, concluded at the United Nations Climate Change Conference at the end of 2023, found that Parties are putting increasingly effective climate policies in place, but that urgent additional action is needed to put the world fully on track for achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement.
