In the interest of adopting a coherent approach to interoperability in the public service sector, when implementing the electronic single-point-of-access platform for RIS (the European RIS Environment) and other solutions that fall within the scope of Directive 2005/44/EC, the principles laid down in the European Interoperability Framework (EIF), that is set out in the Commission communication of 23 March 2017 entitled European Interoperability Framework – Implementation Strategy, pursuant to Article 6 of Regulation (EU) 2024/903 of the European Parliament and of the Council, should be followed.
