For reasons of efficiency and effectiveness, Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 was repealed by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 of the European Parliament and of the Council and the European Online Dispute Resolution Platform, established pursuant to Regulation (EU) No 524/2013, was discontinued. In those circumstances, the relevant tasks of the contact points under Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 should be taken over by the ADR contact points. Those tasks entail, inter alia, and upon request, providing information to parties involved in a dispute and facilitating communication between those parties and the competent ADR entity.
