In recent years, ECHA has been entrusted with new tasks set out in several pieces of legislation and ad hoc agreements. Given the important and central role envisaged for ECHA in this Regulation, ECHA should have adequate resources to ensure that it can deliver timely and reliable data and scientific evaluations to support the decision-making process on the chemical safety of toys.
