As the digital product passport is to replace the EU declaration of conformity, it is crucial to make clear that, by creating the digital product passport for a toy and by affixing the CE marking, the manufacturer declares that the toy is in compliance with the requirements of this Regulation and that the manufacturer takes full responsibility for such compliance.
