Where other information than the elements required for the digital product passport is provided digitally, it is necessary to clarify that the different types of information need to be provided separately and clearly distinguished from each other but through a single data carrier. This will facilitate the work of market surveillance authorities but also provide clarity to consumers or other end users regarding the different types of information that are available to them in a digital format.
