Most toy manufacturers subject to the requirements of this Regulation are micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The Commission should provide SMEs with additional support in order to assist them in complying with the new requirements set out in this Regulation. To this end, the Commission should publish practical guidelines on how to perform safety assessments and create a digital product passport for the toys they produce.
