For the purposes of mapping, the Commission should identify and regularly update a list of crisis-relevant products, focusing on possible disruptions or bottlenecks affecting the security of supply of such products. The identification of those products by the Commission should be based on data provided by Member States and stemming from the identification of the relevant manufacturing capacities and supply chains. In order to ensure the exhaustiveness of aggregated data, the Commission should cross-check those data, using, for that purpose, available data as well as, if necessary, data obtained through voluntary information requests of undertakings.
