In order to ensure a smooth implementation of the measures introduced by this Regulation and in order to achieve a necessary degree of coherence between, on the one hand, the reduction of the administrative burden for Member States’ authorities involved in the preparation of the annual performance report for the agricultural financial year 2025 and, on the other hand, the deletion of the annual performance clearance from the agricultural financial year 2025, this Regulation should enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. The relevant provisions on the annual performance report and the performance clearance should apply in respect of the agricultural financial year 2025 and all subsequent agricultural financial years and should not have any impact on earlier agricultural financial years.
