Any personal data obtained by designated courts or administrative authorities or insolvency practitioners under this Directive should be processed only where it is necessary and proportionate for the purpose of identifying and tracing assets belonging to the insolvency estate in ongoing insolvency proceedings, in accordance with applicable data protection rules.
