While Directive (EU) 2015/2302 requires organisers to inform travellers about arrangements for payment, including any down payments to be made, it does not lay down any rules limiting the amount of such down payments or regulating the timetable for the payment of the balance. Member States are able to regulate such aspects, provided that such rules are in conformity with Union law.
