To avoid placing costs on companies that are disproportionate to the wider benefits, the digital product passport should be specific to the model of a detergent or end-user surfactant. Detergents or end-user surfactants should be considered as belonging to the same model as long as there are no changes to the formula or to the production that would lead to modifications in the label of the products.
