32026R0405#rec_46Regulation (EU) 2026/405 of the European Parliament and of the Council

Recital (46)

To avoid duplication of investment into digitalisation by all actors involved, including manufacturers, market surveillance authorities and customs authorities, where any other Union law requires a digital product passport for detergents or surfactants, a single digital product passport should be available containing the information required under this Regulation and that other Union law. In addition, the digital product passport established under this Regulation should be fully interoperable with any digital product passport required under other Union law.
