Article 135 — Relationship to other forms of protection under national law

1. The provisions of this Regulation shall be without prejudice to any provisions of Union law or of the law of the Member States concerned relating to unregistered designs, trade marks or other distinctive signs, patents and utility models, typefaces, civil liability and unfair competition. 2. A design protected as an EU design shall also be eligible for protection by copyright as from the date on which the design was created or fixed in any form, provided that the requirements of copyright law are met.
