In order to ensure an effective, efficient and expeditious examination and registration of EU design applications by the Office using procedures which are transparent, thorough, fair and equitable, the power to adopt delegated acts in accordance with Article 290 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) should be delegated to the Commission to supplement this Regulation by specifying the details of the procedure for amending an application.
