In order to ensure that a registered EU design can be declared invalid in an effective and efficient way by means of a transparent, thorough, fair and equitable procedure, the power to adopt delegated acts in accordance with Article 290 TFEU should be delegated to the Commission to supplement this Regulation by specifying the proceedings for declaring a registered EU design invalid.
