The core Union database and the central Union database should, where available and appropriate, include default values agreed by the Union, or in the interest of the Union, at international level. Given the sectorial, regional and national specificities across the Union, the core Union database and the central Union database should reflect vehicle types and transport energy carriers typically used in the Union, in some or all Member States. The core Union database and the central Union database should also reflect the unique features of different Member States.
