A swift cooperation between the different bodies involved in the enforcement of consumer rights is crucial to ensuring the overall consistency and coherence of the consumer rights enforcement system. Cooperation between ADR entities and national authorities entrusted with the enforcement of Union legal acts on consumer protection should include the mutual exchange of information on practices in specific business sectors about which consumers have repeatedly lodged complaints, such as unfair commercial practices or terms. It is important to clarify that, as ADR entities are not competent to decide whether a practice described in consumer complaints constitutes an unfair commercial practice, such exchange of information can only concern potentially unfair commercial practices and terms.
