All activities conducted in the context of the EU Talent Pool should respect the right to fair and equal treatment with respect to working conditions, minimum wages, access to social protection, training and protection of young people at work. Also, in line with the principles of the European Pillar of Social Rights, the EU Talent Pool should ensure quality employment and fair competition. Furthermore, it is important to ensure that jobseekers from third countries have access to equality bodies in accordance with Directive (EU) 2024/1500 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Council Directive (EU) 2024/1499, where applicable.
